Starting therapy isn’t easy and looking for a therapist might even be harder. I hope to make both of those experiences easier today.

I am an associate marriage and family therapist (#129345) (meaning I’m working towards receiving full licensure) and under the supervision of Jessica Guilfoyle (CA LMFT #90326) working at the private practice Authenticity Counseling Services. I have received a B.A. in psychology and a minor in communications as well as a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy!

I always have been drawn to the human experience and the stories we hold. I believe from our stories comes growth and healing. Being taken into your story, your journey and experience I would be an aid in your healing and growth.

Being your therapist, I like to work collaboratively to create a life you envision. My goal is to always honor your space and authenticity while fully acknowledging the complexity and intersectionality of your identity. I aim to bring ease, comfortability, and humor when we work together.

I am a narrative and existential therapist.

Being an existential therapist means I like to connect to as an individual and not just your symptoms or trying to fit you in a box. Together we will use who you naturally are to maximize and capitalize on your desired goals.

Being a narrative therapist means that I see life as our own stories. Wether you have had the ability to control the narrative of that story together we will work to find your autonomy and write your next chapter together.

Since I find importance in our life stories I find value in looking at all chapters. This includes our past, our present, and the rough draft you may already have for your future.

I strive to live my life authentic to me and I hope to aid you in your journey to creating a life that is authentic to you.

I look forward to connecting with you and exploring your story together.
